HDPE Membrane

HDPE Membrane

Thanks to the special resin used in the production of the antioxidant and carbon black mixture, it is produced as UV-resistant / UV-resistant depending on chemical, biological and mechanical effects. It is a High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) synthetic waterproofing geomembrane, which is formed by processing the densities of different polyethylene raw materials in extruders and forming them homogeneously. Base isolation is High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) geosynthetic cover called plastic synthetic cover. The produced plastic cover shows different density and thickness features according to different purposes. The surface of the geomembrane covers can be flat or rough depending on the surface to be applied.

In addition, HDPE Geomembrane to be used will be provided with a different layer of signal layer in order to facilitate the determination of the damages that will occur in the construction site. For this purpose, the HDPE Geomembrane with gray signal layer will be used in terms of being the easiest color to show puncture and tear.

HDPE covers produced in strips will be welded and combined at the construction site. However, this process must be done carefully and controlled. Anchorage details in the slopes of HDPE Geomembrane will be applied as specified in the project drawings. For this reason, the material to be applied must have a structure that will provide these details. The HDPE cover in strip form should be 1,00-3,00 mm thick homogeneously throughout the cover.

HDPE Membrane Types

-HDPE flat geomembranes

-HDPE one side rough geomembranes

-HDPE two-sided rough geomembranes

-LDPE geomembranes

-LLDPE geomembranes

-VLPDE geomembranes

-HDPE T-Grip geomembranes

-HDPE T-Grip surprising membranes

-One side felt laminated PE geomembranes

Advantages of HDPE Geomembrane

-Long-lasting thanks to its special resin containing antioxidant and carbon black

-High strength and elongation values

-Resistant to chemical effects

-Thanks to carbon black, it has high UV resistance

-Thanks to the special welding method, the possibility of performing air pressure stripping and peeling tests at the joints

-The size of roll sizes, fast and practical application in large area projects

-With single or two-sided rough products, it can also be applied on high-slope areas

-Lower density (LLDPE, VLDPE) materials can also be produced for use options in different applications.

HDPE GEOMEMBRAN APPLICATION TECHNIQUES

Before Geomembrane Application

Solid Waste slope and base parts will be compacted with earth filling and made ready and insulation will be made.

HDPE Geomembrane and Geotextile Felt Application

One layer of Sodium Bentonite Clay Cover joints are laid on compacted soil ground by overlapping 10 cm and the application area will be closed completely. HDPE Geomembrane rolls will be laid on the Sodium Bentonite Clay Cover, perpendicular to the bottom of the pond, parallel to the slopes, will be placed on the Sodium Bentonite Clay Cover and placed 10 cm, and joints will be combined to protect the 10 cm overlap with the warm fusion welding. Welds made with warm fusion will be tested with compressed air (2 bar / 2min). After the required tests are done, the top layer will be covered with geotextile felt.

Also; If the filling is made in the slope, geogrid should be used in the filled parts.
